Keep Abe, Louie, and All Future Residents Healthy
Keep Abe, Louie, and All Future Residents Healthy
For rescued draft horses, the road to freedom is filled with danger.
The number one threat is contracting a disease.
A disease that will take their life and those around them.
Every horse that arrives at Roanchar Ranch Draft Horse Rescue undergoes a 30-day quarantine to protect not only the incoming horse but the residents of the rescue from life-threatening ailments.
For Abe and Louie, a contagious disease could be deadly because of their compromised immune systems.
Currently, new horses are separated from the herd, but the shelter’s common wall potentially allows disease transmission.
That is why this Giving Tuesday we are raising $12,283.31 to build a stand-alone quarantine area.
Please help keep Louie, Abe, and all future residents healthy.
Thanks to a generous group of donors, your gift will be DOUBLED up to $6200.
